As most of you know, last week Public Safety officers and parking patrol only issued warnings for parking violations on campus, with most common violations being students parking in areas designated for faculty/staff and vice versa.
However, starting the week of Aug. 25, Public Safety will begin issuing citations for parking violations, with minimum fines being $10. Please be attentive to the parking rules and signage on campus. If you have any questions about particular parking areas, please call our office at (678) 466-4050 or stop an officer. They will be glad to answer any questions to prevent unexpected citations.
If you drive to the main campus for classes, try to arrive a little early to allow adequate time to locate a parking space, due to the continuing growth of our student population as well as the ongoing construction on campus. Also, a reminder of the availability of spaces in the K and L lots adjacent to the tennis courts that do not require a parking permit.
