For the past nine years I have been leading a spring break study abroad trip to Italy that visits the highlights of Rome, Tuscany, and Venice. Many faculty and staff have asked to participate but space has been limited. So, this year’s trip, my last, will be just for Clayton State employees and their guests.
The 2015 Faculty/Staff trip to Italy will depart on Friday morning, Mar. 6 and return on Sunday night, Mar. 15. The estimated cost is $2500 per person plus approximately $300 for additional meals. The final cost may vary due to fluctuations in currency rates or airline surcharges. This is a student style trip - meaning that everyone will need to carry their own bags, there is lots of walking, and very little pampering. All lodging will be double occupancy in comfortable, but not fancy, three-star hotels. Guests may join us if space allows.
To assist in planning, please complete the survey at https://claytonstate.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_5uIM0p470wps4Nn, but only if you are interested in participating or learning more about this trip. Completing this survey does not obligate you in any way. This trip will be limited to 10 - 16 participants. Preference will be given to those who will be using this experience to learn more about planning their own study abroad trip in the future.
