Clayton State University encourages and supports sponsored research and other scholarly activities which align with and contribute to its strategic mission to cultivate an environment of engaged, experience-based learning, enriched by active community service, that prepares students of diverse ages and backgrounds to success in their lives and careers.
All sponsored research and scholarly activities must comply with the University’s standards and all federal and state laws and regulations.
The acceptance of sponsored funding, whether restricted or unrestricted, imposes certain legal obligations on the university with regard to use, management and accountability of those funds. GCP works with members of the faculty and other administrative offices to assure that these obligations are met.
